Abilities: Seraph-XSα wields an arsenal of demolitions and technological offenses. Her launcher propels contact grenades a distance, which inflict devastation in their radius of explosion, her chest is able to discharge piercing beams of energy, and she may deploy the likes of laser auto-turrets and attention-attracting mines. These features, however, often demand a substantial amount of Seraph-XS' power, such that they may only be used sparingly or in condensed periods. While dexterous and agile, she compensates by being fragile by the standards of other genetic heroes, which requires of her to depend more on evasion rather than explicit endurance.

Seraph-XS is installed with a passive Stealth Module, which allows her to slip from visibility between intervals when enabled. This effect, however, may be disturbed by collision or Seraph-XS performing any activity other than moving.

Bio: During the violent hyper-industrialization that signaled the end of their civilization, the denizens of Infinity split into armed factions. Fighting over the few resources they had left to them, they fought wars of starvation. Eventually, the only factions to survive were the ones who needed the least food or drink to survive; the cyborgs.

Seraph XS combots provided the Randayn faction the deadly might they needed to protect their supplies from outsiders until they eventually turned on themselves. And the last Seraph XS standing was Seraph XS 919.

Taking pity on Seraph, Crogenitor Suzu granted her additional capabilities. Scrubbing her algorithms clean from "master-control", Suzu gave Seraph XS free will. That should have guaranteed Seraph XS a better life. Unfortunately, the Darkspore invasion turned the freedom to pursue life into the freedom to select targets for death. Possessing at that point 300 years of combat experience, Seraph XS inventively and ruthlessly slaughtered her Darkspore enemies with a combination of deadly mines, attractor bombs, and auto-turrets.

Crogenitor Suzu hoped that one day, his "child" would be free of the terror that defined her existence. But Suzu knew that day would not come until the galaxy was free of the Darkspore...

Abilities: The Jester is a specialist in entertainment, quite able to lift spirits with his lute-playing and shenanigans. He seems to have also fashioned his talents with the lute for other purposes, such as performing ballads to motivate his allies and demoralize adversaries. Unfortunately, one of the Jester's favourite antics revolve on ridiculing someone or something, whether a friend or otherwise, for others pleasure. He is deft with his dagger and sickle, capable of precise stabs and slices which easily inflict bleeding on the vulnerable. He is very nimble physically and adorns lightweight, unprotective attire, enabling him to steer clear of most danger and perform feats of agility.

It is not uncommon for the Jester to perform sequential acts in battle, initiating by confronting the enemy with an unnerving solo and following up with a grand finale. His finale consists of bowing gracefully, both himself and a foe of his choosing being impaled by (apparitions of?) spears and himself fleeing away. As is likely apparent, a successful finale will exact agony on the Jester's target and render him himself tired and crippled, needing him to have the opportunity to recover.

Bio: Jingles the Jester is a humble, rather deranged and violent entertainer belonging to the Darkest Estate ever since his recruitment. Employing his prowess in amusement and combat, he fought in the presence of like individuals seeking fortune and renown, providing distraction from the horrors they faced. As Jingles advanced, he invested wealth into refining his skills and equipment, gaining a reasonable reputation. He claims to have previously perfomed as a court jester and childrens' entertainer, both occupations of which failed to satisfy him. Despite his aptitude at his role, he sports a manipulative, indifferent manner and will often express distrust, raising questions to whether or not he genuinely has faith in his company.

Abilities: Webber is at peace with the arachnid kind, allowing him to interact with and direct Spiders freely. His monstrous form affords him more physical resilience and a stronger stomach, being able to ingest otherwise poisonous food. With sufficient resources, he is able to gestate colonies of Spiders through assembling and planting eggs. Periodically, Webber will acquire a silky smooth beard, web-like facial hair which provides insulation and induces a calming effect on him when shaven. The shaven silk may be further woven for other purposes. Webber is able to traverse delicate surfaces such as web with ease and little disturbance.

Webber possesses aptitude in craftsmanship, presumably bestowed upon him by Maxwell. This enables him to construct a variety of goods with the appropriate items, ranging from clothing, equipment, contraptions and traps.

Bio: Webber is an unfortunate young boy who lives inside the Spider who tried to eat him long ago. While the Spider succeeded in consuming him, they were unable to entirely digest him, which resulted in his skull merging with the soon-to-be deceased Spider. When Wilson P. Higgsbury discovered his skull in the wilderness, he took pity and decided to give him a dignified burial. Soon-after the funeral, however, Webber was resurrected through mysterious means, linked mentally and physically to his arachnid counterpart. Webber escaped elsewhere to survive on with welcoming communities of Spiders. While overall pleased with his fate, it is not uncommon for him to reminisce memories of his previous life or lament the limitations of being a monster.

Abilities/Equipment: Generally, Spiders are nocturnal, carnivorous arachnids that reside in their respective dens. They are producers of silk, their stronger stomachs allow them to consume dangerous and/or poisonous food and their glands may be used to concoct remedies. However, their benefits are somewhat outweighed by their harmful qualities- they can and will inflict painful bites, their flesh is toxic, and the increase in the number and size of their dens is very difficult to control without destructive means.

Spider: The normal variation of a Spider is easy to manage- their bite is effective, although not powerful, and they are relatively fragile. They thrive in numbers, however, and are the most abundant type of Spider. They reside in Spider Dens.

Spider Warrior: The Warrior variation of a Spider is not unlike the normal variation, however they are stronger in terms of defense and mildly greater in scale. They are capable of leaping, rendering them dangerous. They are less common than most Spiders, and also reside in Spider Dens.

Tropical Spider: The Tropical variation of a Spider shares the characteristics of the Warrior variation in-addition to possessing a poisonous bite. The poison inflicted by them will cause great discomfort and gradually deplete the wellbeing of who suffers it, usually lasting until the victim perishes or becomes cured.

Cave Spider: The Cave variation of a Spider shares the characteristics of the normal variation, however they are less fragile and sport a shell-like carapece which they may retract themselves into to hide and provide protection. They reside in Spilagmites underground unlike Spider Dens.

Spitter: The Spitter variation of a Spider shares the characteristics of the normal variation, however they are significantly less fragile and able to spit harmful web-like projectiles in-addition to biting. They reside in Spilagmites underground unlike Spider Dens.

Dangling Depth Dweller: The Dangling Depth Dweller variation of a Spider shares the characteristics of the Warrior variation, but as their name would imply, they reside in Spider Dens on the ceilings of underground locations. They are able to ascend and descend their web at will.

Spider Queen: As is likely apparent, Spider Queens serve as royalty to the Spiders, emerging from fully grown Spider Dens. They are distinguished by their frighteningly oversized scale, appearance, endurance and offensive capability. While active, Spider Queens roam throughout the day and sleep during the night. They frequently produce Spiders and Spider Warriors, who persistently follow after and defend them. Eventually, Spider Queens will become Spider Dens and disband their fellowship of spiders, however if dispatched of earlier, they yield a Spiderhat. Spiderhats are effectively the upper heads of Spider Queens, which may be adorned to influence and direct Spiders. Spider Queens are very slow-moving in contrast to other Spiders, however, and Spiderhats will often become exhausted after long wear.

History: Spiders are the unpleasant arachnid populace of the worlds the likes of Wilson P. Higgsbury survives in, bearing no objective other than to subsist, expand and cause disturbance. They exist in colonies branching from the surface to the deep underground, found in a multitude of colourful, terrible forms. However, they are favoured for their silk and glands- obtaining these resources is difficult given the malicious nature of them.

Abilities: The Follower is the leader of the Slaughter Me Street Gang. He is completely random and is a master of torture. His primary method of attack is to follow.

Bio: The Follower is a dark blue puppet-like humanoid figure that has grey horns spiraling behind his head. He also has small goat-like ears that are about the size of his eyes. He also has thin hands resembling that of a puppet. He also has blood and two fangs on/in his mouth. The Follower, as his name suggests, follows the player from behind. To avoid the death from The Follower, the player will have to look behind them then flash their light at the puppet. If the player chooses to ignore this task accidentally or on purpose, they will get jump scared by him.

Abilities: The Greeter is the technician expert of the Slaughter Me Street Gang. Like the others, she is completely random and goofy. Her main method of attack is surprise.

Bio: The Greeter is an anthropomorphic pink bird, with two brown horns and a brownish beak. Her fur parts at the joint in her elbow so that brown skin can be revealed on her forearm and hands, which are large and four-fingered with claws protruding from the end of them. No eyes can be seen in the creature eye-sockets, along with the absence of teeth in her mouth. The Greeter begins on the ninth floor and begins the spring out in front of the player while waving her hand rapidly. If the player activates the flashlight, The Greeter will cover one of her eyes and screech, but if the player somehow does not activate the flashlight in time, she will jump out of the corridor and scratch at the screen violently, killing the player.

Abilities: The Waiter is the strong, yet very sensitive and dumb one of the group. He is rather heavy compared to the other members. His primary method of attack is to set up a trap.

Bio: The Waiter is an anthropomorphic dragon-like puppet, with wings on his arms and horns. He also has yellow fur and a wide, sharp toothed mouth. He has yellow eyes with a black iris. The Waiter starts on the eighth floor and lurks in the side hallways, but he's not like The Greeter, as he appears inside the hallway in front of the player. When you see him in the hallway, shine the light at him, so he can't attack you. Failing to do so, the player will get jumpscared.

Name: The Swarm

Size of group: Containing almost infinite amounts of zerg forces, the queen of the zerg, Kerrigan, otherwise known as The Queen of Blades included.

Description/Picture:


Universe: StarCraft series

Abilities/Equipment: The Zerg have many zerglings, hydralisks, ultralisks, mutalisks etc etc. They have taken over many planets aswell and they can use many "natural" weapons that were made with them.

History: Amon's xel'naga discovered the original zerg on Zerus. The fallen xel'naga directly intervened in the zerg's development to gift them with the purity of essence, making them the counterparts of the protoss, gifted with the purity of form; the zerg and protoss were intended to eventually merge to form an army and host body for Amon. At this point the zerg species diverged into two distinct branches; the Zerg Swarm that had been altered and the primal zerg that managed to avoid the tampering of Amon's xel'naga. The xel'naga created the Overmind to control the zerg swarm and prevent a repeat of the protoss' Aeon of Strife. The Overmind oversaw the zerg swarm's rapid evolution, created the cerebrates, and divided the Swarm into broods. The primal zerg, meanwhile, went into hiding to preserve their individuality.

However, the xel'naga in Ulnar caught wind of Amon's plan, and sought to stop Amon from ending the Infinite Cycle. The two factions fought in the space above Zerus, and the swarm was released on the xel'naga. Most were slain and their knowledge was assimilated by the swarm. Through this, the Overmind became aware of the existence of the protoss, and through them sought to make the Zerg Swarm perfect. However, it was aware of the directive implanted into it by Amon, and sought ways to subvert Amon's plans.

The Great War
Having assimilated multiple species and evolved during the journey, the Swarm arrived at the Koprulu sector near the Protoss Empire. The Overmind ordered the assimilation of the terrans; their psionic potential was needed to fight the protoss. The protoss detected the zerg, learned of their xel'naga origins, and dispatched the Koprulu Expeditionary Force under Executor Tassadar to deny the zerg a foothold.

The Great War broke out with the zerg invasion of the terran worlds. Protoss purification, and terran internal strife, failed to contain the invasion. The terran rebel group, the Sons of Korhal, used and manipulated the invasion to overthrow the Terran Confederacy and form the Terran Dominion. The zerg captured Sarah Kerrigan at the Battle of Tarsonis and withdrew to Char to transform her into the Queen of Blades. The Overmind intended Kerrigan to succeed it as the Swarm's leader, freeing the zerg from Amon. It had no concern over the other races of the galaxy.

The zerg were attacked on Char by the protoss; a renegade Tassadar joined forces with Dark Prelate Zeratul on Char. Zeratul, wielding the Dark Templar's power of the Void, permanently slew Zasz. This created a brief mental link between Zeratul and the Overmind, through which the Overmind learned the exact location of Aiur. Kerrigan remained on Char while the Swarm invaded Aiur.

Resistance against the zerg invasion was hampered by the protoss Conclave's overconfidence and a short protoss civil war. The planet was devastated. The Overmind relocated to Aiur, where it was slain by the protoss. The protoss subsequently withdrew to Shakuras, the Dark Templar homeworld.

The Brood War
The Overmind's death left the Swarm divided between the cerebrate Daggoth and Kerrigan. Daggoth initiated creation of the second Overmind. Kerrigan sought to kill the Overmind before it could mature and resume control over the entire Swarm and her. The zerg civil war was complicated by the arrival of the United Earth Directorate Expeditionary Fleet in the Koprulu sector; the UED overthrew the Terran Dominion, and captured the second Overmind with the intent of using the zerg to maintain control over the Sector. The UED used the psi disrupter to fragment opposing zerg.

Kerrigan manipulated both anti-UED terrans and the protoss to destroy the Psi Disrupter, break UED control over the sector, and slay the Overmind, thus bringing the entire Swarm under her control. Zerg betrayal dissolved the alliances of convenience. The reformed Terran Dominion, UED remnants, and protoss attempted, and failed, to oust Kerrigan. The war ended with all sides withdrawing to rebuild; the zerg remained in control of previously infested worlds.

Interbellum
For the next four years, the Swarm avoided outright conflict with the terrans and protoss while slowly expanding and evolving.[36][37] The remaining cerebrates died and were replaced by broodmothers.

As the first hybrids became active, signs of Amon's machinations reached Kerrigan.[39] While searching for clues about the hybrids, Zeratul discovered Kerrigan was essential to prevent the Swarm from fulfilling the Dark Voice's apocalyptic plans; the dark templar instructed Jim Raynor, of Raynor's Raiders, to ensure Kerrigan's survival.

The Second Great War
Main article: Second Great War
The Second Great War began with the Swarm's invasion of terran space in search of a xel'naga device. Various terran groups used the upheaval to their own ends. Raynor's Raiders fomented rebellion against the Terran Dominion and, on behalf of Crown Prince Valerian Mengsk's Moebius Foundation, recovered the device before the Swarm. A joint Raiders and Dominion attacked Char and used the device to deinfest Kerrigan. The Swarm fragmented.

Kerrigan was doggedly pursued by the Dominion, which led to Raynor's capture and reported execution by the Dominion. Kerrigan began reuniting the Swarm as a tool for vengeance, both for herself and for Raynor. During this period, the Swarm journeyed to Zerus, where it was reunited with the primal zerg and Kerrigan became a primal zerg-human hybrid. Her new form was more powerful than the previous hybridization, and free of Amon's influence.

The Swarm discovered and destroyed a secret Dominion hybrid production facility led by Doctor Emil Narud, a servant of Amon. Kerrigan killed Narud, and learned of Amon's resurrection and the threat he posed to creation. She directed the Swarm to wage war against Amon after killing Mengsk.

The campaign against the Dominion was a success. Raynor was found alive and rescued from a secret prison.[58] The Swarm invaded Korhal, and Kerrigan personally entered the Korhal Palace and slew Emperor Arcturus Mengsk. The Swarm departed Korhal to fight Amon.

Legacy of the Void
End War
Zerg under Kerrigan's command assaulted a Moebius Foundation base whose personnel had come under the thrall of hybrids. It was successfully destroyed. Afterwards Kerrigan sent the zerg toward Ulnar, but were engaged by Amon's hybrid.

During the Reclamation of Aiur, the Daelaam fought what it thought was feral zerg on the surface of Aiur. However, these had fallen under the control of Amon's hybrid, and used tactics against the Daelaam. As Amon rose and corrupted the Khala, Amon Brood pushed Hierarch Artanis's few remaining loyalists with the help of the hybrid and corrupted Khalai, forcing him to leave Aiur on the Spear of Adun.

Amon then reactivated the warp gate linking Aiur to Shakuras, and sent billions of zerg to Shakuras. The Daelaam evacuated what population they could, but the planet had been infested. In a last ditch move, Matriarch Vorazun ordered the xel'naga temple's phase prism overloaded, destroying Shakuras and all zerg on the surface.

Kerrigan's swarm continued to battle at Ulnar, and were met with the Daelaam who helped her push into the Temple of Unification. They broke through Moebius Corps, Tal'darim and hybrid forces to get to the central chamber, but found the xel'naga inside dead. Amon revealed his trap, and opened a void portal. The Zerg Swarm and Daelaam allied to destroy the void crystals powering the portal, but in the process Kerrigan's swarm took heavy casualties.

The Daelaam once again came into conflict with Amon's zerg on the planet Endion, where the zerg infested the surface. The Daelaam pushed through their hives to activate the stasis locks keeping the Purifier station of Cybros in orbit, eventually clearing the hives. However then the stasis lock fell Amon's zerg and hybrid descended on Cybros, and began to attempt to destroy the station's power core. However, the Daelaam activated the Purifiers, who cleansed the zerg from the platform, then purified the surface of Endion of all life, destroying the zerg infestation on the surface.

Upon the Daelaam's return to Aiur, Amon's zerg made up the bulk of the defenses. They had infested Antioch and fought to defend the khaydarin crystal that powered the psionic matrix there, but were beaten back by Matriarch Vorazun and Highlord Alarak. The zerg brought up heavy defenses for the last crystal as well, but a combined Daelaam force lead by Hierarch Artanis cut through them and destroyed the crystal.

Amon's zerg served as part of his defensive line defending his host body, alongside shadows of the Void and corrupted Khalai protoss. These were no match for the Daelaam, who destroyed the host body. Amon's brood then converged on the Daelaam as they prepared the Keystone to pull Amon from the Khala, but even with the aid of the Golden Armada could not destroy the Keystone in time. Amon was pushed from the material universe, and the broods on Aiur were out of his control.

Into the Void
On Ulnar, Kerrigan had managed to rebuild her broods, and sensed a benevolent voice calling to her from the Void. She gathered together the Terran Dominion and the Daelaam, and the three factions pushed into the Void to end Amon and find out what voice was calling to them. They used the void portal in Ulnar to go into the Void, but were attacked by shadows of the Void. They kept on the trail of the voice, and found it to be of Tassadar, who was imprisoned by Narud. Kerrigan and Alexei Stukov lead the zerg in the offense against Narud and his Void forces, and with the help of the Dominion and Daelaam pushed to Narud and weakened him. Stukov personally delivered the killing blow as revenge for killing him years earlier.

Tassadar's voice revealed himself to be of Ouros, one of the last xel'naga, who said Kerrigan needed to ascend to a xel'naga in order to continue the Infinite Cycle and beat Amon. Kerrigan began the process of absorbing Ouros's essence, but Amon sent shadows and void thrashers to stop the process. Zagara lead the swarm in the defense of their queen, and were aided by Jim Raynor and Artanis. The transfer of essence was completed, and Kerrigan ascended to become a xel'naga. She stated that Zagara was now in charge of the swarm, and that she needed to remember the lessons Kerrigan had taught her.

Kerrigan took her broods and directly engaged Amon, supported by the Terran Dominion and Daelaam. Her swarm destroyed the void crystals shielding him, and Kerrigan delivered the killing blow against Amon. With Amon's fall, the swarm returned to the Koprulu Sector.

A New Queen
By 2508, the Zerg Swarm was unified under Broodmother Zagara. She forcibly laid claim to Char and all of the surrounding worlds.
