Community Projects
I feel like while there are a bunch of us here, many of us don't know each other well, or aren't too friendly with one another. If we want this community to survive, we have to strengthen our bonds and make this a tight knit community. A community that can prosper and work together on the goal of building a new forum, one better than the Sporum.
So...
What should we do?

Re: Community Projects
I don't know, honestly.
Selina may drive people here eventually, but we can't count on that. The first thing is, we need to act on here the way we act toward each other on the Sporum (minus the drama).

That's the idea. Show people that we do all the things they're already doing on the Sporum, but without the bad stuff.UglyDollFan wrote:We must do it like converting a religion into ours....
Right?

Anything will do. We need activity to keep this place up and running.Mata Rahi wrote:Well, what are y'all interested in? Roleplayin? Writin fanfics? Art? Games? Music? Maybe a dungeons and dragons campaign? :p
Re: Community Projects
Das what I'm saying though, easiest way to keep up activity is to find common interests, right?

Seriously, though, a D&D campaign might be fun.
I've always been a bit fuzzy on how all of these roleplaying threads work, exactly. How does one roleplay over a forum?

Re: Community Projects
Roleplaying over a forum is probably better and much less shameful than roleplaying irl. All you have to do is just write from the perspective of your character and then wait for the other players to respond to your character.DarkMagickan wrote:EropsToad wrote:Drama...?

Ahem.
I play Dungeons and Dragons, and am not the slightest bit ashamed that I have no need of 1080p graphics and a shiny controller to enjoy myself, thanks.
But yeah, that clears it up. I wasn't sure. Thanks.

I meant roleplaying in costumes and acting out yourchracters. That stuff is really awkward.DarkMagickan wrote:thecardiackidofDCVII wrote:Roleplaying over a forum is probably better and much less shameful than roleplaying irl. Besides, it's not like you're acting out a play or anything like that.

Community games like that? SureEropsToad wrote:We could try to get Zandoo's Sporumgic card game back up and running.
I think Leonir was trying to set up a system for playing D&D on the DC forums so we could try to bring that over here.

I think more photoshop-oriented challenges would grab people's interests as well.

Where do you get photoshop anyways? I've been craving it so that I can make some zany photo edits.
